Painted Turtle Housing

The Painted Turtle Camp at its core is an innovative camp and family care center for children with life threatening illnesses.
Experience of the camp’s architecture is intended to heighten the full range of senses. The housing components are created recognizing the importance pf providing a life-changing environment for the children and their families, one that allows children to participate in an authentic camp experience.
Fremer Architects served as executive architect for The Painted Turtle’s final phase of camp participant housing. Also completed a Limited Site Study of the 160-acre campus to determine possible locations for future building development and expansion.
